I agree with the point that a lot of our generation's perceived indifference or indecisiveness has a lot to do with our collective over exposure to images, media and stimuli, resulting in everyone being entirely oversaturated. When the generations before us grew up, it was easier to form perspectives and opinions on matters, decide who they were as people, and know what things they liked and they didn't, because they were all exposed to a very minute amount of content, especially those who grew up before the media and internet explosions. The reason most people of the younger generation are less firm or confident in their opinions at times (I think) is because for every opinion someone has, they can easily compare it to millions of varying ones especially in the realm of social media.
