About the Space:
What type space are you creating? A surreal type space combining natural elements with artificial Why? That's the type of world I live in, especially when traveling
What kind of images do you need to collect to
create this space? I need to collect images of myself as well as images of areas I would inhabit. I am an actively practicing photographer so I've planned to use exclusively my own pictures, so my piece can be 100% original
Where do you need to go to take pictures? I might need to go explore some more but honestly I probably have enough in my archive that I won't need to take any more
How does the created environment relate to your portraits? I want to use portraits that illustrate my states of mind, and my environment is typically a direct reflection of that
Will people other than you appear in this image? They may, I have a lot of images with my friends in them as well
What mood are you trying to create? I want the mood to be energetic and bright while also being tasteful, because that's how I try to get myself across with my art
What will the overall tone be (think cinematically)? The tone will definitely be positive
About the Self:
How can you play with different aspects of your identity? Think about your internal and
external self. How do you present an image that communicates your personality? I can play with different aspects of my identity by including various items that relate to who I am as well as including myself with different outfits on/expressions on my face in diverse settings
How many versions of you will you include? Will they be the same scale? Why? I don't know at the moment it will really depend on how the image ends up panning out and what makes aesthetic sense. I will probably include different versions of different scale because that'll be fun
How will you take the images you plan to use? Consider time of day, lighting conditions,
environment, costumes, makeup…
I plant to use the multitude of images I already have and see if they're workable, if I end up needing more I'll just go out with my camera and shoot away till I have what I need
